Project: NAVIA: People, the city, the sea

The LLUM BCN light festival is coming back to Barcelona on 16, 17 and 18 February during the celebrations in honour of Santa Eulàlia. This edition of the festival will be set in the neighbourhood of Poblenou, and IED Barcelona will have the honour of illuminating the patio at Espacio SIMON 100 in the old SIMON factory.

The “People are light” installation invites the audience to live the experience of light on a nanoscale, like a sort of imaginary journey to the heart of a lighting phenomenon. The display creates a universe beyond reality in two different areas: a dark and mysterious tunnel and the bright, translucent salt patio where visitors can interact with the façade to make it light up and show different scenes.

What goes on inside an electric cable that connects a switch to the light?

Come to Espacio Simón 100 during LLUM BCN 2018 and find out!
