The Master School Graduation Ceremony recognises the best projects from the 2020/21 academic year

On 16 December, IED Barcelona held the Graduation Ceremonies of the Masters in Interaction Design, Design Management, and Fashion Management courses, as well as the Postgraduate in Fashion Accessories Design and Leather Goods. Special Mentions and an Honourable Mention were awarded to the best works developed by students.

SPECIAL MENTIONS:

Project: Marketing Strategy for the company Mascaró – Master of Design and Innovation in Fashion Management

Students: Augusta Adriasola, Sylvia Alfageme and Alejandro Gassó

A collaborative project to develop a new marketing and branding strategy that promotes the culture and crafts of the artisan tradition of shoemaking. The proposal stands out for its professional viability and business model proposal.

Project: I AM U for the company Linking Realities – Master in Interaction Design

Students: Myriam Chamoun, Anastasia Lapotko, Thomas John Butzke, Alp Nissan Baskin, Sidhasila Naik and Mine Surger Asik

Presented at the latest edition of the SonárCCCB festival, this is an installation that invites the public to create their own virtual identity on the spot. The proposal promotes a reflection on the impact that immersive technologies will have on the development of the metaverse, which is why it has been awarded a Special Mention for the application of new technologies.

HONOURABLE MENTION:

Project: Pi Llobera i Alcover for the company Lottusse – Postgraduate in Fashion Accessories Design and Leather Goods

Student: Eva Ortín Alpiste

A collection of three designs — a shoulder bag, a handbag and an accessory to carry water — inspired by the texts that poets Miquel Costa i Llovera and Joan Alcover wrote between the late 19th and early 20th centuries about pine trees, a characteristic element of the Majorcan landscape. Manufactured using sustainable materials, the project received this distinction for its social impact and sustainability.
