IED students and alumni at the 23rd edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion
The Barcelona fashion week will once again be taking over the Modernist Section of the Sant Pau Hospital with creativity and trends. From 4th to 7th February, a variety of students and former students from IED Barcelona will be taking part in the 23rd edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week;
· The work created by students Roberto Rodríguez and Brenda González from the Undergraduate Course in Fashion Design will be on display inside the Open Area, whilst former student Eñaut Barruetabeña will be in the Pop-Ups area to present his own brand of men’s ethical fashion named Eñaut.
· On Tuesday 5th February at 2 pm, the brand Z1 founded by Beatriz Planelles, a former student from the BA(Hons) in Fashion Design, and Matteo de Meo, a current student on the BA(Hons) in Fashion Marketing and Communication, will be coming to 080 Barcelona Fashion for the second time with their Fall/Winter 2019 collection “POWERED”.
· “Complex Minimalisme” is the name of the collection produced by former student Javier Girón, which he will be introducing on Wednesday 6th February with his label JNorig. Inspired by the simplicity of the Amish lifestyle and the complexity of Indian tribes, his collection aims to tear down the social, political and religious boundaries that are rising in today’s technological society.
