IED BARCELONA TAKES PART IN FOODTURE BARCELONA 2020

IED Barcelona Design School will present several student projects at the second edition of Foodture Barcelona, which will be held online between 20th and 22nd October.

A virtual reality culinary experience for people who have lost their sense of taste, packaging made from seaweed and a small-scale ecosystem for interior spaces are IED’s proposals for this year’s edition of this event, which is focused on the role of design and innovation in the future of food.

The School will also participate in one of the talks — The Inventors of Tomorrow — with the Director of the Design Area, Raffaella Perrone.

Powered by Barcelona Centre de Disseny and Plat Institute, the 2020 Summit “From Food Design to Design Fiction” will include a wide variety of free talks, accessible upon registration at the following link.
