IED BARCELONA PRESENTS YULIA APP AT SÓNAR+D 2016

IED Barcelona Advanced School of Design presents ‘Yulia’, an application that offers a new concept of a musical event, at the MarketLab of Sonar+D 2016.

Designed by the students Junior GonzálezDanae Fischer and Alberto Martínez, ‘Yulia’ allows the synchronization of a group of mobile devices with the aim of transforming them into a single sound system.

It only requires an invitation to the event that operates like an amplifier gadget once it is adapted to the phone. The colour of the app corresponds to the time of day, turning all the screens into one visual community.

From 16th to 19th June 2016, Sónar+D is presented as the international conference that brings together a combination of activities with a common theme: the relationship between creativity and technology, and the digital transformation of the cultural industries involved.

A project with the collaboration of I+ED Lab and the technical support of Digio.
