IED Barcelona exhibits in the Pitti Uomo of Florence projects in collaboration with Ducati and Bric’s

A small group of students on the Undergraduate degree in Fashion Design of IED Barcelona participated in “SO”, an exhibition by IED Florence that took place during the 90th edition of Pitti Uomo in Florence, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of IED group.

 The students collaborated with two well-known Italian brands: Ducati and Bric’s. The collaboration consisted in redefine some of the most iconic products of the brand. In Ducatis project, the students customized a part of a sixties motorcycle named Scramble. In the exhibition visitors could watch the different projects of all IED schools, who has also been designing a part of the motorcycle such as the saddle, the helmet or a T-shirt. In the other hand, Bric’s proposed a workshop where some students discovered the design process of leather accessories and they also customized a classic handbag from the brand that was also shown at the global exhibition.
