Fashion School talent on the catwalk at 080

The 28th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion will project the talent of three fashion designers trained at IED Barcelona: Eñaut Barruetabeña (Eñaut), Glo Lladó (EIKO AI) and Martín Across. The event will also see the participation of Director of the Fashion School of IED Madrid, its former student, Moisés Nieto.

The personal style and creativity of these designers will be showcased on the catwalk of the next Barcelona Fashion Week, which will take place from 25 to 28 October in the emblematic Espacio XC, via a 100% digital format.

The Designer from Guipuzcoa, Eñaut Barruetabeña (Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design), is behind this label, founded in Barcelona in 2018. Winner of the competition REGUERA.0/080 Barcelona Fashion for Best Designer as well as being awarded the prize for Best Emergent Design Collection by 080 in 2019, Eñaut proposes sustainable and contemporary men’s collections with a minimalist cut .

Glo Lladó (Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design) is the Creative Director of this women’s prêt-à-porter brand, created in 2018, which demonstrates the hallmarks of craftsmanship, quality materials and local production.

MARTÍN ACROSS

Date: 27 October

Time: 7 pm

 The Designer that gives his name to this brand (BA (Hons) Fashion Design) makes his debut at 080 with creations that draw from the Andean landscapes of Ecuador and the Spanish coast. Backing a sustainable approach to fashion, his designs are handmade from local materials.

MOISÉS NIETO

Time: 8.30 pm

The Director of the Fashion School of IED Madrid boasts a significant national and international trajectory as a women’s fashion designer. His work has been recognised through prestigious awards such as the L’Or , Vogue Italy’s My Own Show, Who’s on Next by Vogue Spain, and the Spanish National Fashion Award.

Espacio XC by the sculptor Xavier Corberó is the setting chosen by the event organisers to exhibit the proposals of more than 20 brands and designers. This edition will once again see a virtual front row, with the fashion shows being streamed on the 080TV channel.
