Alessandro Manetti delivers a workshop in Colombia to detect the country’s future design and innovation trends
Alessandro Manetti, the General Director of IED Barcelona, delivered a workshop in the Colombian city of Bogota last April to anticipate the country’s future trends in innovation, design and creativity.
Under the title “How to leverage the triple helix to generate new opportunities in future scenarios?”, a variety of public institutions, universities and businesses studied new opportunities to collaborate in the field of design by using innovative methodologies proposed by the Design University.
The workshop was organized in collaboration with the Academic Design Network (RAD) as a part of the FITS Project (Future Innovation Tailor-Made School) from IED Barcelona and was based on the macrotrends shown in the 2033 Deflexor Map. Social entrepreneurship, new agro-industry technologies, educational projects to solve conflicts and citizen mobility were just some of the trends shown on the map that are likely to affect Colombian territory over the coming years.
They also edited an updated version of the Deflexor map according to the country’s outlook. Follow this link to see the map.
