Once again, IED Barcelona will participate in 080 Barcelona Fashion. The emblematic fashion week, which this year celebrates its 25th edition, will take place from 3rd to 6th February. A number of IED students, alumni and collaborators will showcase their designs at the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site:

– On Tuesday 4th February, Gloria Lladó, a former student of the Undergraduate Degree in Fashion Design, will participate with her brand Eiko Ai, presenting the Quantum One collection, inspired by quantic energy and the unity of the cosmos. True to its essence, Eiko Ai manifests a commitment to artisan creation, quality materials and local production.

-On Wednesday 5th February, the Basque designer and former student of the Undergraduate Degree in Fashion Design Eñaut Barruetabeña will present After winning the award for best emergent design collection last year, his brand Eñaut has bet on combining rigid and technical fabrics in a new project that illustrates the theme exodus, as an inner and spiritual journey.

-Also on Wednesday, at 17:30, the collection NON-SEASONAL will hit the catwalk, through which Pablo Erroz, creative director of the Master in Men’s Fashion Design, proposes timeless fashion as a response to excessive consumption habits.

-Finally, on Thursday 6th February at 12:30, Juanjo Villalba, a former student of the Master in Fashion Design, will present his first collection Mitología emocional [Emotional Mythology], to recount the failure of a love story. Villalba will use this project as his calling card to the industry.

Further, two looks from final degree project collections will be on display from Carla Alberch and Roser García, recent graduates of the BA (Hons) in Fashion Design, previously showcased at Fashioners of the World last June.
