Summer Course in Fashion Design - Junior
The world of fashion is a constantly expanding sector that offers many career opportunities. Many young people are quite convinced that they would like to go into fashion design but others cannot decide between the different options available in this sector.
The Summer Course in Fashion Design Junior offers a very specific idea of the design process to young people who clearly see themselves as becoming fashion designers and gives experience in this field to those who have not yet made a decision.
In both cases, the course will provide the motivation, confidence and self-knowledge about the world of fashion design that will allow them to define step by step their academic career and personal lives.
Project of the Summer Junior Course in Fashion Design
The course is intended to boost motivation, confidence and self-knowledge, so each student incorporates the experiences they learn into their own academic path and personal life, and so they gain a better understanding of the way fashion designers think and work.
The syllabus has been conceived to create a space where students can establish bonds and share their distinctive features. Students are also provided with enough technical knowledge to develop their own ideas in relation to the world of fashion, on the basis of a design process which highlights the importance of observing, researching, associating ideas, applying logic and communicating.
The course is designed as an immersion into the world of fashion design by means of a hands-on approach. Every student will perform a variety of activities in order to learn which tools and resources designers need to create their fashion collections.
Young students between 15 and 17 years old who are keen to get started in the world of fashion and find out if this is the academic field they want to build a career in.
Young students with artistic or creative skills related to the fashion industry looking to learn first-hand about the sector’s professional reality guided by professional lecturers, and enhance and foster their skills and compare them with their peers.
