The Postgraduate in Data-Driven Thinking, aimed at young professionals, provides the expertise and knowledge required to lead digital transformation projects in order to offer a competitive advantage in any sector or professional field.
Endorsed by our partner Bestiario, the course provides students with an overview of trends in the digital sector, emphasising the relationship between data and the world of design as applied to any business sector. Students of this course acquire the necessary skills to respond to major innovation challenges by following a data-driven decision-making model.
It is an online programme that ends with a week-long face-to-face bootcamp, with students choosing one of the three IED sites to attend.
In collaboration with Future Innovation Tailor-Made School (FITS).
The course brings together digital sector specialists, entrepreneurs, academics and international researchers to contribute their unique insights and share what they have learned about today’s “information economy”.
Students explore digital business models, the impact of digitalisation on society, data visualisation as a tool to help search for and interpret information, how to define and calculate KPIs from available data and methodologies that help to foster productive discussions throughout the entire creative process in order to achieve the desired aims.
Our goal is to bring together the necessary tools to focus your profile in one of the most demanded directions today, to be able to create and improve current processes thanks to digital transformation.
Students integrate theory and practice in this postgraduate course. Graduates have the opportunity to successfully apply their design skills and technical training in a wide variety of sectors, combining creative thinking with analytical approach to boost innovation and create intelligence beyond that of pure intuition.
At the end of the course, students acquire the techniques required to turn data into one of the main assets in any business sector to improve decision-making processes. The programme is taught online and concludes with a one-week, on-site boot camp from a choice of one of IED’s three locations in Spain.
Our students are trained with a multidisciplinary approach that helps them to develop their work in any business sector by providing innovative solutions based on the methodology of data-driven thinking:
– Make the most of opportunities arising from data and work more consciously to understand their potential.
– Successfully apply data design and analysis skills in a wide variety of sectors, such as strategic planning and design, brand communication, journalism or digital consulting.
– Complement creative, strategic and technological skills with a 360-degree view of the world of data.
– Lead innovation projects in their sector of expertise or business area.
