It provides a theoretical and cultural base with the objective of creating an innovative aesthetic style to outstand in the international fashion market. It prepares professionals who are capable of envisaging solutions and responses for the future trends in aesthetics and new market needs.
The programme of this degree teaches students to devise new aesthetic formulas that are indispensable when it comes to communicating a brand’s image. It provides the knowledge necessary to connect demands and needs through a range of media: specialised press editorials , fashion shows, catalogues, shop window displays, retail outlets, advertising and cinema.
The first year of this degree is focused on acquiring basic concepts of design, culture and project methods. Students learn to dare to create and communicate.
The second year entails the beginning of learning specialized fashion techniques: pattern making, modelling, illustration, accessories, history, etc., essentials for anyone working on the field of fashion. During the third year, students major in Styling and Fashion Communication, and they start studying image consulting, editorials on fashion and latest trends, and carrying out several styling projects (editorials, photo shootings, etc). There is an especially prominent project on sustainability and fashion and various forward-thinking projects on techniques and tissues.
