FoM141.27 is the name of the piece composed by musical producer Olaf Blanch which has inspired Exploration Mercury, an interactive installation put together by students from the Masters in Interaction Design at IED Barcelona Design School, working in collaboration with the artist.

FoM141.27 is written in C#, which according to popular belief, is the note associated with the frequencies of planet Mercury.

The installation was presented during the International Digital Creativity Festival Mutek 2019 in Barcelona, where it interacted with the rhythm of Blanch’s song to provide a mesmerising visual and artistic effect using LED lights programmed with Arduino, animations and video.
