Collection: OK. DEKO

Alumno/a: Sergio Plaza

OK. DEKO takes its inspiration from the most traditional culture in Southern Spain: flamenco. The collection is inspired by the music, dancing and traditions of Andalusia. Above all, it focuses on the transformation of a worker’s everyday aesthetics with the image of flamenco style eveningwear.

Garments including jackets, dresses, trousers and coats comprise a collection that combines different shapes and large silhouettes that are far from the traditional flamenco dresses. The more masculine looking garments feature a host of metallic details and zips. Rigid fabrics and materials such as wool felt are combined with colours like red, yellow or pink that evoke the flamenco culture and form the essence of the collection.

It was finalist of the contest ModaFAD 2015.
