Santiago Restrepo, student of the Undergraduate Degree in Graphic Design at IED Barcelona, ​​has been selected by Swab Stairs 2017 to present his work “Vive” from June 16 to 30, 2017 on the stairs of the Passeig de Gràcia metro stop at the exit of the line L2 to Gran Via and Cine Comedia. 

Swab Stairs is a contest within the framework of “Swab Off” and the project TMB Cultura which objective is to link the academic world with the creative transformation of the landscape. In this way, the students of the most prestigious schools of art and design have the opportunity to exhibit their creations in the most important stations of the Barcelona metro. 

Under the theme “The Smart and Sustainable City”, Swab Stairs 2017’s goal has been to bring creative and sustainable solutions to today’s cities to become more intelligent, environmentally sustainable and in harmony with their inhabitants. 

In this edition have participated ten Catalan schools, among them the IED Barcelona, ​​and two invited international schools of Antwerp and Paris.
